Opie Manufacturing Group tendered for the work to design an electronic timetable system for Sydney ferries commissioned by the Sydney Harbour foreshore authority.
All partners in the project needed to have a current, certified quality management system (ISO 9001) and ASSDAaccreditation in place.
Worked with multiple partners, those that were doing the electronics (Metromatics) that were designed to automate the timetable system and the installer and projects managers.
- Grade 316 stainless steel
- Powder coated finish with anti graffiti clear coat
- Laxan MR10 anti vandal view panel
The project took eight weeks in total, two weeks in design stage and six weeks in the fabrication stage.
“The client was happy as we manages the whole process to ensure our design met their requests, but also that it could accommodate the electronics installation requirements. It all came together well. This initial project led to manufacturing the fixed TV modules that we installed on the ferries.”
